Paypal Payment & User Account Activation

    With the way the UU paypal payment system is set up the admin has to manually activate the user account when a real transaction has been completed.

    Even though i have set up a notice on the registation and erollment form to the fact that it will take a sometime for their account to be activated they, the user get frustrated and send all kinds of abusive emails about their accounts not been activated. In todays world people want instant gratification.

    Is there a way to get this system on AUTO…please..whereby a real transaction initiates the user account activation just like any other paid site does..please..i am getting hammered here..

    Sorry for my tardiness but i wanted to see a few transactions thru before i gave you some feedback on the update.

    1. I am happy to say that the paypal transaction ID is back and that this is auto activating the subscribers account..phew!

    2. The transactions though are still being held as pending on the ORDER panel even after payment is confirmed, paypal ID or Not.

    3. It seems that when someone pays via instant express checkout especially if they are a verified paypal user paypal does not assign a transaction ID on UU

    So other than 2 & 3 i can sleep better without worrying about nasty emails. Thanks.

    Please check the new version and the changelog. there is a new feature that may help you to find out what’s going on with those orders.

    Checked & solved..now how do i go about changing the UU paid subscriber account from pending to paid. This is still being reflected on the paid accounts that occurred prior to the changes that have made the payment system work smoothly thus far.

    I already got an email from one user inquiring about this fact…

    I’m glad to hear that the issue has been resolved.

    We will need to implement a new module for that.
