Got this in the mail today. Not sure if WooCommerce needs to do anything or not.

PayPal is expanding the Instant Payments Notification (IPN) infrastructure used to notify merchants about events related to the status of PayPal transactions. This change will add two additional IP addresses from which IPNs will be sent. Below are all of the IP addresses that will be used for IPN.

    66.211.170.66
    173.0.81.1
    173.0.81.0/24
    173.0.81.33
    173.0.81.65 (New)
    173.0.81.140 (New)

You will start receiving IPN’s with the above IP addresses January 18, 2021 at 8:00 AM Pacific Standard Time (PST)

    Call to Action

If you are implementing any Access Control List (ACL) or filters on IP addresses for the IPNs received from PayPal, we request that you add the aforementioned IP addresses. Doing so will help avoid missing IPNs from PayPal.

    Thank you,

    PayPal

  • Hi there,

WooCommerce core does not restrict access by IP address.

    For this purpose, you can:

    – check whether you have any plugins that do
    – inform your hosting company of the new IPN source IP addresses
