    Dear Support Team,

    we are currently using the free version of LearnPress and are facing problems with paypal payments. That’s why my simple question is, what are the necessary steps to get paypal working?

    Unfortunately it’s not enough to set the email account of the paypal account, because the state of the bookings are not changed, when user cancel it’s payment at the paypal page. It is stuck at pending.

    We also want to test it in the sandbox enviroment first and there we are stuck at the paypal page after login. The form disappears and we are not able to complete the transaction. And again, when we cancel the payment, the state remains to pending in LearnPress.

    I’m a bit confused because I’m used to set up the ipn settings, when working with paypal and I cannot find any documentation in LearnPress that are mentioning this. How get LearnPress informed when the user cancel or complete the transaction at the paypal page?

    I hope you can help us out to get paypal sandbox and the live mode working.

    Hi,

    Paypal payment method is not auto canceled in LearnPress. So that if users cancel paypal payment then they need to go to admin of LP to cancel this order.

    For issue “We also want to test it in the sandbox enviroment first and there we are stuck at the paypal page after login. The form disappears and we are not able to complete the transaction”, please make sure that you’re using latest version 2.0.7.2 LP and check problem again then give us a screenshot to check.

    Hi Phan,

    thank you for your response. I was testing again and there are some weird behavoir. First, the sandbox does work only for one time. Like, when i activated the sandbox mode and order a course. Then I get redirected to the paypal page and see the login screen:

    and when i follow the instructions, then I can pay the course and it does get flagged as complete in LearnPress after a while. But when I try to book again, even with a different user, then I get redirected to a different paypal login screen which look like this:

    and with this form I’m not able to complete. I get stuck after login like so:

    the right area remains in white.

    I can relogin in WordPress, clear browser cache, logoff paypal etc – I still get the same form which is not completeable. I don’t know why I get the working form only one time of a period of time. But when it appears once, then I get the wrong once over and over again.

    I hope I made my problem clear.

    PS: My version is 2.0.7.2.

    Hi,

    We checked your site and found that you’re trying to pay by Card https://postimg.org/image/p2npfsd1t/ so that problem is occured. You just can use account paypal to pay as this https://postimg.org/image/hy5w6r5sh/, it does not support to pay by card.
