    from 1 January 2021, on the e-commerce of one of our customers, some credit card payments are not successful. I would like to venture that perhaps it depends on the 3D Secure which became mandatory from that very date throughout Europe. The site is built with WordPress, Woocommerce and PayPal Checkout. I do not understand the reason for these orders that are not successful unlike others that are carried out correctly. Some Consumers after a passage with the bank manage to pay. Other orders are lost because Consumers no longer return to the shop, asserting that buying on other platforms even via PayPal they have no problems.

    There are similar problems, could you suggest a solution or a useful suggestion.

    Thanks for reaching out to us! I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues with a customer’s site. I’m sure that must be very frustrating for the both of you.

    Would you mind enabling the PayPal Checkout plugin’s debug logs and checking for any errors that might explain what’s happening. Here’s how to do that:

    Hmm, it sounds to me like there’s an issue with either the consumers’ banks or with PayPal processing the payments. If they’re able to pay after contacting their bank, then I think the issue lies with either their bank or with PayPal.

    If you don’t see anything noteworthy in the PayPal Checkout plugin’s logs, I recommending contacting PayPal for further assistance. If there is something in the logs, please let us know (e.g., an error code) so we can help you further.
