• Sometimes when we receive a payment it goes through as normal, but other times it just shows as “Payment Pending” even though the payment goes through. This is getting very frustrating now and has been happening for many months. I made a thread earlier about this but nobody responded.

    If somebody can please respond to this urgently I would be very grateful as this is a major issue for our business, thank you.

    PayPal? See https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/paypal-standard/ You can also enable PDT as a fallback.

    Thank you for your response Mike. I checked the link you sent and all the PayPal configurations seem to be correct.

    The problem happens with Credit/Debit Card payments and PayPal payments. Sometimes it says pending and sometimes it says processed as normal. So the issue is not just with PayPal, and the issue isn’t that it never works – sometimes it works but a lot of times it just remains as pending even though we receive the payment.

    Is there any way to fix this please?

    Updating the order is the gateways job. If it’s another gateway I cannot really guess because I don’t know what code is being used.

    Hi Mike,

    This issue is still not resolved and it has become a major issue for us. All the payments continuously show as pending even though we received the payment. If it is as pending we do not get a notification that the order is placed, so orders have been sent out late because we aren’t being notified that a payment has been made.

    If you can please help us out with this that would be fantastic because we are lost with this and cannot solve this but is a very big problem. Thank you.
