Payment Logos displayed on the wrong side
-
Hey,
one of the latest updates changed the position of the payment logos to the right side:
This looks weird for people that also use Stripe in their Online-Shop.
How can I undo this so that it’s aligned on the left side (to the right of the payment title)?
Thanks,

Hello @giacomo1
can you please try the latest version and another theme too. It seems this is theme related.
Best regards
AndreasHi Andreas,
changing the theme doesn’t solve the issue.
But downgrading to an older plugin version solves the issue. It doesn’t work with versions 5.8.2 and 5.8.3 (current version). β
It works with version 5.8.1. βWould be great if this could be solved with the next update.

Seeing the same. 5.8.3 (on my staging) icons are far right. 5.8.1 (production) on the left, right after the selection and label.
After looking at the code, the image in the newer version is different (format?) from the one before.
Using Divi.
Sure,
let me know if you need any more info.
Thanks,
GiacomoClosed because of inactivity. We are trying to fix it with the next releases.
Hi Andreas,
it was fixed but one of the latest updates broke this again. Why does this keep happening?
Can someone please fix it permanently?
Thank you. π

Hi @giacomo1,
Apologies for the inconvenience, but our recent update 6.2.0 fixed the icons to be aligned on the right side by default. We had many requests to style them either way and settled on the originally intended position with more user-customizability.
So in addition, all the icons now have a class called
mollie-gateway-iconwhich can be targeted to modify them via CSS. With this, you should be able to move the icons to the position you desire.
We are currently in the process of creating a piece of documentation for this, and more customization options that will come with our next release.
I hope this helps already!Kind regards,
NiklasHi Niklas,
thank you very much. Would you possibly be able to provide me with the CSS code to make the necessary changes? That would be awesome as I (and the customers) wouldn’t have to wait until the documentation is finished.
You can use this product and put it in the cart and then go to https://edley.de/kasse/ to see all icons.
Thank you so much!! π
Hi @giacomo1,
I am not a CSS wizard myself but got word from our developers that we will prepare some examples that could achieve the look from the previous version 6.1.0.
But with CSS there are always right and wrong ways to achieve similar results and it can all vary depending on the theme code.
Some changes may need to be applied as important to override styles from other sources.
A primitive example to move the icons would be with amargin-rightproperty.
This will move the icons (except for CC’s, which you are using Stripe for anyway), but it’s clearly not the best way to do it.If you prefer the old look, I suggest reverting to version 6.1 for now.
But I will let you know as soon as we have something to share, probably sometime next week.Kind regards,
NiklasOkay, if something new will be released next week, I’ll wait.
How/where will I be able to know when the documentation/examples is online?
And in case it won’t be released next week: Can you provide me a download link for version 6.1.0?
Thanks!

Hi @giacomo1,
Our current documentation is available on GitHub here:
https://github.com/mollie/WooCommerce/wiki
This is also where we will publish new documentation articles.
I linked this thread to our internal issue regarding the icon documentation and will let you know when we have some examples ready.
But I can’t judge when exactly this will be.In the meantime, you can download previous plugin versions from the bottom of this site:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/mollie-payments-for-woocommerce/advanced/
Or alternatively, you can install an older Mollie version with a plugin like “WP-Rollback”.Kind regards,
NiklasHi @niklasinpsyde,
if you could let me know that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
For the meantime, I downgraded to 6.1.0.
Btw @niklasinpsyde β why not just add a simple dropdown to the settings?
Like this: https://i.postimg.cc/Wb6xSDbR/Logo-Position-Mollie-Plugin.jpg
It would fit perfectly in the context, should be fairly easy to implement and would save you a lot of effort longterm.
