Payment link for orders requires Case sensitive email

When sending a payment link to a customer the checkout link requires a case sensitive email address. This has cause a lot of confusion for us until we figured it out.
I believe this is a bug as it directly effects functionality for the customer and emails are universally not case sensitive.
