    Hi,

    When we select stripe from back-end booking (sales) it simply completes the booking without asking for card details. is this correct? if so , how do we tale payment over the phone?

    Hi,

    Hope I can help!

    I have recently been on the phone to Stripe regarding using their services as opposed to paypal.

    Stripe allow the capture of card details on their website by logging into your account and adding a manual payment.

    This must be done on their website.

    Please note that they do not favour this method and as long as 80-90% of your sales are done via the API through stageshow you should be good. You may with to clarify this with them though.

    Once payment has been collected you can then mark the sale as paid and e-mail the sale to the customer in Stageshow. Stageshow won’t automatically take you to stripe to complete the sale on the admin pages.
