I am experiencing the same issue since updating to Woocommerce 2.6.1.
Upon placing an order, the following message is received:
Credit Card Number is a required field.
Credit Card Expiration is a required field.
Credit Card CVC is a required field.
This issue is preventing customers from making purchases with their credit cards at https://CrunchDaddy.com
Your help with this is greatly appreciated and urgently needed!
Another user posted this and it works for me:
“I installed: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-gateway-stripe/. This is the official WooThemes plugin for Stripe. It’s free. I tested it on my site and was able to upgrade back to WooCommerce 2.6.1 and complete a transaction with no issues.
I hope this helps.”
I wish I had realized this plugin stopped working sooner. I missed a lot of sales in the last 3 weeks ): I second the official WooThemes Stripe plugin.
I found this out today when a client tried to buy a subscription. Since the official plugin is free, there is no need to use the third-party plugins anymore. Thanks, WooCommerce!
