    Hello!
    Thank you for your request.

CleanTalk doesn’t checks your password, is it correct or not. Only wordpress core can provide this answer. Our plugin only hooks the response of your wordpress site and if wordpress considered the entered password incorrect, only then the plugin will count this attempt.

If you still can’t log in to the admin panel and you believe the CleanTalk plugin is the cause, please follow these steps:

    1. Rename the plugin folder ../wp-content/plugins/security-malware-firewall (files can be accessed, for example, through the hosting panel).
    2. Log in.
    3. Rename the folder back.
    4. Activate the plugin.

    Did it help?

If you can’t figure out how to log into the administrative panel of your site, we will need details.

Ticket submitted–it only happens when the plugin is active and doing per the instructions above did not fix it. Thank you in advance, for your help. 🙂

Thank you for waiting. We’ve made fixes. You can use this fixed version:

    https://github.com/CleanTalk/security-malware-firewall/releases/download/fix-version/security-malware-firewall.zip

    • Go to the WordPress Administrator Panel -> Plugins.
    • Find the plugin ‘Security by CleanTalk’ -> Deactivate.
    • After the automatic page refresh, find the plugin again ‘Security by CleanTalk’ -> Delete. Confirm files deletion.
    • Download the plugin archive from the link.
    • Go to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin.
    • Choose the downloaded archive and press ‘Install Now’.
    • Once you have installed the plugin, activate it and check that the access key matches the one on your CleanTalk dashboard.

Please let us know if you require further assistance.
