I am currently using Download Manager 2.6.0. I have two problems really. #1 when I use the Add Media button I download to the Media Library, and then I insert into page. But I can’t seem to find the Media Library when the files are stored. #2 from what I have read, on the page 9for dropping files anywhere to upload) there should be a button the right side which allows me to set a password for downloading (I think), but I have no buttons there?

You need to add file from Admin Menu >> File Manager >> Add New.
Add a title / description and use “Upload File From PC” meta box to attach file, don’t use add media.

thankyou for your reply. I have uploaded the file from the PC, but now should I be able to see it in File Manager > Manage ? Because I still can’t find it. I want it to be on a particular page as read only? If it is in a location with a URL then I want to make reading (reading only without the ability to download) a menu item. I am new at this, sorry if my question is a little basic!
