Password protect .htaccess file

    Hi
    Could somebody help me. I have simple password protection on my site in .htaccess.
    Works well or maybe too well, because I have to input password for each site whenever I open another subdomain. Is there anyway, that it would ask me for the first time I open my blog and than whenever I open another subdomain it just opens without entering the password.
