Thanks @kaderibrahim for the article!
I wanted to know where I can see the logic where wordpress is determining if entered password is weak or strong?
Hello @jatinsiyaldario
As far as I know, WordPress uses a specific library to evaluate password strength. It’s designed to recognize and weigh thousands of common passwords, common names, and surnames according to US census data, common English words, and other common patterns like dates, repeats (aaa), sequences (abcd), keyboard patterns (qwertyuiop), etc. However, there’s no specific article related to it.
While this library gives us a decent idea of password strength, it’s not completely foolproof. It’s always a good idea to enforce strong password policies and educate users on the importance of creating strong, unique passwords.
I hope this information helps!
Thanks a lot @aguinaldodarla for explanation. Now I understood the concept, will enforce strong password policies!
