1. You posted about this in another thread.
2. WP is a publishing tool – some people seem to forget this basic thing. We use WP because we want to publish our blog.
3. If you want things to keep in secret: don’t put them on the net. Keep them in your drawer or bank safebox.
1. I didn’t post this in another thread. I posted a different question about what is the best method for protecting posts (not if there is a plugin to see if people are trying to crack the password.)
2. I understand it is a publishing tool – I haven’t forgotten this. I do publish my blog.
3. I obvioulsy am not the only person who wants to protect certain things. If I was, there wouldn’t be a password protect option. I have my reasons for wanting to post some things on the web, but keep them away from certain people.

Responses like that make people like me with genuine questions feel very uncomfortable seeking help.
Is there a plugin similar …
I have some people viewing my blog who I’d rather didn’t and I would love to know it they’re attempting to view my protected posts. Also, it would be nice to know if people are guessing anything close to the real password.
No, there isnt.
