  • Hi, firstly thanks for a great plugin. Exactly what we needed! We’re just struggling with two issues. The first is that the time we set (GM London) when creating a meeting doesn’t appear to work. When a user starts the meeting it’s not showing at the time we set it? Perhaps we need to set a time zone in Zoom? Also, this may be connected but the creator of the meeting doesn’t get an alert when the meeting is ready to start or someone initiates a meeting. The first time we did this it worked and admin was notified? Second problem, we need to set a password but in the tests we’ve done it doesn’t ask for this at any point to anyone could join the meeting. Thanks for you help. Again, great plugin.

    Hi mattmph,

    When you create a meeting via WP Backend(using zoom API) does that same timezone show in official meetings page as well ? If it shows then i have had issues with timezone before as well. So, what you need to do is send that timezone related to your timezone instead of UTC. I think this might be one solution. However, i don’t see anything i can do to help out on this as timezone is a bit problematic since the beginning.

    For notification, default notification should be sent from zoom itself. I have not added any code in the plugin to push notification to users so you should probably check zoom dashboard settings.

    For Password, thank you for letting me know on this. I will verify and push a fix for this soon.

    Just updated plugin with version 2 support. Password issue should be fixed there. Please lemme know if not. If you have any custom functionalities extending this plugin then before using version 2 API please upgrade the custom code as well. If not then you are fine to upprade.
