Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end..

    I received this message when trying to install wp.

    Full error message:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in …root\blog\wp-includes\locale.php on line 22

    I can’t work out what is line 22 when I open the file in notepad.
    Can anyone help?

    I’d re-upload the wp-includes directory to make sure you don’t have a file corrupted by the initial load.

    Make sure your FTP client is in text/ascii mode when uploading the php files.
