Parent/Child Menu Issue
-
Greetings,
I am having some issues with this plugin and the parent/child relationship of the menu items. This is the site:
http://www.sciencecare.com/professional-facilities/
I have each page in question setup within the hierarchy like this:
Professional-Facilities
-State
–info pagesWhen I am visiting the parent page (http://www.sciencecare.com/professional-facilities/), the main menu performs as expected, with the menu item being active. There is no real action needed on the vertical menu for this particular page.
When I visit a child page (ie http://www.sciencecare.com/professional-facilities/colorado/facility/), however, the active menu item (Facilities in the main menu) becomes inactive, and the vertical menu does not stay open, as I had specified in the shortcode ([dcwp-jquery-accordion menu=”Vertical” skin=”blue” event=”click” hover=”1″ animation=”fast” expand=”true” disable=”true” save=”true”])
Is this an issue with the menus in general? I am at a loss as I have never dealt with this issue within WordPress before, since the menus normally automatically work.
Thanks!
