• Hiya

I’m struggling with saving Parent-Child Menu Hierarchies. When I try to make a sub menu by sliding it to the right, it goes to the correct position, but jumps back when I save it. I have about 60 items, across 3 sub-menus, and they all work fine. But suddenly I’m struggling. Is there something I’m doing that’s wrong?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

i have 2 plug-ins (duplicate-post and post types order), and i’ve disabled them, but it didn’t help. I do have filezilla, but i don’t know how to use it. Host? Username? Password? Is this WordPress? Or my ISP?

You can get this info from your web hosts.

Problem cropped up again. Spent HOURS trying to fix it, but then changed to Chrome instead in IE9, and it worked perfectly
