Paragraph format dissapears all the time

    Everytime I switch back and forth from Visual to Text and add a change or element, most of the paragraph formatting dissapears and have to do it all over again.
    I’ve tried adding the format in Visual, and adding the <.br> in Text but if I go to the other mode and change anything, (like going into HTML and adding an image script, o being in HTML and going to Visal and format something in italics using the interface) the whole thing will get messed again.

    Any idea about how to avoid having to reformat every post every time I add a new element or decide to change a little thing??

    Only one: Never switch back to Visual mode. Anything done in Visual mode will remain in Text mode, but anything that could not have first been available in Visual mode will likely be lost when switching back to Visual mode.

    You can manually add something in Text mode that would have been available in Visual and it will be safe if you switch back to Visual, but Visual tends to drop things it does not recognize as possibly having come from itself.

    Visual goes very rogue. I do one enter hit and it created a paragraph. I go Text to do one enter hit to just have a new line. Then I go back to Visual and all the paragraphing is gone. So there’s something more to it that just Visual not recognizing, it’s reformatting (or loosing format for that matter)

    Yes, I understand. Visual is whatever it is and there is much it is not, then Text is something entirely different and the two do not work together. The best I have ever found is to begin in Visual to get things a close as possible to what I want, then go to Text to finish…and then stay there.

    Maybe take a look at this plugin I have just discovered:

    I have yet to try it myself, but I believe it deals with ‘wpautop’ causing the kind of trouble you have mentioned…
