As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. As you are their customer I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.

@vkjeerlauritz OH, THAT’S NOT GOOD. When I installed this plugin on my test site I got this.
Which lead to a tracking short link that only lets you pay you. That’s not good and you cannot use the plugins here just to harvest money from users.
If you want to have a “paid” version then do it on your own site. Do not use your plugin here for getting payment like that. Your plugin is being reported to the plugins team.
@jdembowski okay i was not aware that is not allowed, i saw many other plugins like advanced custom fields, yoast and so on have it, so i added it too. i will remove it again
@johnonlineuk you can upload it via the plugin installer as well, if you just upload the .zip via it
I tried that and got the following

i have looked now and many other plugin can sell, how come i cant also sell premium version??
You cannot and must not use these forums for paid customers. You do not provide a web site for them to reach you and get that business, you instead use the plugin to make it so that users pay you directly from your plugin.
That’s wrong. Don’t do that. Setup your own web site and lead the user there where they can purchase your paid plugin, where they can ask you pre-sales questions and where they can get support as your customers.
If you only leave your users to this site then I will close those topics. Other authors do this and you need to do that too.

Also: @vkjeerlauritz I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums. Don’t repeat that again here.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.
If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.
Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
