Pagination with Multiple Queries

Hello,

I’ve been trying to get pagination to work and am having some trouble. There are two queries on the page, the first works fine and just pulls 1 entry with a large featured image. The second query is on the bottom half of the page using WP_Query and for some reason I can’t get pagination to work with it. Here is the code for the bottom half in a pastebin:
