Link to see the problem…please describe the page that works and the pages that don’t work.
Hi Michael
The web-site is http://www.inout-blog.com/
the local host is http://boltonbrooksy.dyndns.org/wordpress/
I’ve now chnaged my ddns which makes it more complicated it was boltonbrooksy.selfip.com
the home page of the web-site is with 123-reg but All-about and the other pages revert to my localhost but they don’t now as boltonbrooksy.selfip.com is not recognised by my QNAP NAS…….
Hope that makes some sense…
I can’t even get to my administartion page!! how do you do this??
You’ll have to access your WordPress database via phpMyAdmin (most hosting providers offer this in their control panel) and manually change the siteurl and home values to http://www.inout-blog.com
thanks James I’ll do that
for my local site how do I access my admin panel – sorry I’ve forgotten and what do I change to settings to stop it pointing to selfip.com and I now want it pointing to dyndns.org
Cheers
Follow the guide that I linked to and check some of the other methods listed there. One should work for you.
Thanks I will follow the links, but I also wanted to just add another blog into my current home page which I want to reamin active until sort the whole lot out but I can’t seem to get into the administration panel – how do I do this, its so simple but I can’t find the answer anywhere??
I know I’m sounding a bit thick……… ;-0
Cheers
If you want to access the admin panel, you need to change the siteurl and home values in the database. Follow the guide, please.
