EASY Pages Question

I am a new user so sorry if this has been asked before. I am doing quite well on editing the theme of my site. I made a page called home. When I published the page, it looks just fine in IE. However, when I open in Firefox or on my mac, the little thing that says posted by user on this date and time blocks the very top portion of what i wrote on the page. Is there anyway to get rid of that? all help is appreciated!
