Pages not responsive

    Hi.

    My pages are not responsive to the size screen people view them on. I have made my website. http://www.yapltd.co.uk on a laptop and it looks great but switch to a different size screen and all hell breaks lose the pictures cut short or on mobile too big, headings disappear, tables overlap pictures and I can go on. Can anybody help me out as this is supposed to be a responsive site and its not doing what it says on the tin.lol

    Hi

    Taking a look at the theme you chose, http://tesseracttheme.com/ it does appear to be a responsive theme. Have you updated to the latest version of that theme? Comparing your sites header to the default theme’s header I can see your site is now using inline css compared to one overall stylesheet for the site. The person that made changes to the default theme did not follow the responsive conventions initially implemented.

    You can compare your header to the default themes header by right clicking in Chrome, and selecting “inspect” then hover over the top of your site.

    I see what you mean. What theme is that? And first suggestion, pick a different theme!

    Hi there.
    yes theme is all up to date ect and cant change it as been working on it so long teaching myself how to do this. This is my second site with Tesseract and the first one was fine. Since then wordpress has updated and I have added a couple of plugins. Not sure what inline css means but the only css added after the install was their own unbranding pluging.

    May have to strip it back and start again as not sure I know enough to mess with CSS. think it would be less painful to dig my eyes out with a dull spoon.lol

    Thanks again for looking for me and if anyone has any other easy fixes for me please shout out going to leave this open until I can get to strip it back at the weekend.

    Hi me again.
    so i have started from scratch again and found that beaver builder is brilliant for the responsive side of things.. didnt have to change my theme…thank the lord. but still a little hitch. when in mobile size the logo which is placed in the header to the left hand side is not responsive and hides the menu.
    any idea’s???
