Are you copying and pasting that code from another application?
I did copy and paste that code. But even when I dont it still only shows code:
for example just did this and it still only displays code: http://www.attorneymonroemichigan.com/practice-areas/
I tried deactivating all my plug ins as well to no avail.
It should display normally… but it’s still just displaying HTML code.
I deleted my child theme, and tried it that way. Still only displays HTML for the pages content.
Is there something I should check? I inspected it, but nothing is jumping out at me. Has anybody had this same issue?
Thanks!
Your site is still using your child theme.
Esmi, I reinstalled my child theme since that didn’t correct my issue.
Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all plugins deactivated?
Activated the twenty fourteen theme and deactivated all the plugins. Problem persists.
Without changing anything, can you publish a new post by typing in the following:
Twinkle twinkle little star
How I wonder what you are.
Published the new post as requested esmi.
Well. that seems to be working OK. Have you been pasting content in from elsewhere on the other pages?
I have not. I think there may be an issue with this theme. I ran a fresh bare bones install on another website I have and still getting issues just trying to put simple tags in such as <p> and <b>.
I’ve looked through the CSS file, I cant find anything wrong with it.
The 2014 theme has been extensively tested. So this is specific to your site. Can you try adding the same text to a new Page and see if that works?
Added the twinkle. That works. I put some code underneath and it still is displaying it as html and not hidden.
Can you clarify what you meant by “I put some code underneath”. What editor tab are you using?
