pages as subdomains

    So it’s been a while since I’ve done anything with WordPress. I’m sure I’ve done this in the past and it wasn’t hard, but after many searches I cannot find a straight answer. I want each of my ‘pages’ in WordPress to be on a different subdomain.

    So if I have an ‘about’ page:
    mydomain.com/about
    I want that to be:
    about.mydomain.com

    I’m guessing I need a rewrite rule but am not really sure.

    Actually I would also like each category to be a subdomain as well. I half got this working with the WP Subdomain plugin, but it does not seem to be loading the sytles.

    Any recommendations on doing this without a plugin?

    Looking for the same thing. WP subdomain plugin seems to be broken and does not work with WP 3
