pages

I am new and I am putting in new pages. I have home My static page then I want about and blog, gallery., I want gallery to be where the home, about. blog happens to be.
Add new
Gallery
the drop down menu
template
one column no sidebar
order 4
But it goes where I don’t want it to go.
What am I doing wrong.
