While posting the answer is helpful and encouraged, I cannot imagine anything more discouraging than encountering hostility on the support forum from a moderator. 🙁

could you just stop going around in the forum and posting your personal opinion AFTER my posts?
That wasn’t a personal opinion post, it was a volunteer support response informing evanarussell that it is helpful and encouraged to post your solutions here when you resolve an issue. There’s more than 1 way to skin a WP issue in most cases (although it is often presented as only-one-way on this forum). If I post a follow-up it is a clarification or addition to the previous answer. If I’ve posted after you before, I didn’t notice it per se, that would be pure coincidence.

But I could do without the barrage of put-downs from certain forum regulars. I noticed a few other complaints on here recently as well by new-comers. Did you?
