Page not in sitemap

Would it be possible for you to provide us with an example URL of where this is occurring?

When you say the canonical is set correctly, have you set a specific value for the canonical URL field? Ideally, in most cases, you should just leave that field blank and it should automatically self-canonicalize. If you enter some sort of value for the canonical that is different from its actual URL, that could explain why it’s being removed from the sitemap – https://yoast.com/help/canonical-urls-in-yoast-seo/
