Hi, can you share the page with the download link so that I can check? Also what shortcode did you use?

Hi, thank you for providing the information requested. Just for testing purposes can you create a test page with a txt type file to download instead of a pdf file. Let me know what happens.

Also, can you enable debug mode as well. Then check the log file after you carried out the test.

    Thank you

Hello again, I have already made a new page with a download of a .txt file, the url is https://www.rociocalderonabogada.com/index.php/prueba-de-conocimiento/ I have already activated the debug log and I have performed a test, this time I no longer see a page not found, but instead opens the text file on a page, and nothing appears in the debug log, I am going crazy, Thank you very much for your help, and I hope you can help me

    Hi,

Your issue could be related to a file permission restriction with PDF files. However, I found this great documentation 403-forbidden-error on the internet. This should help you troubleshoot a 403 error message. You might also need to speak to your host about this issue as well.

Let me know how you go.

    Regards

Hello again, I am back, the hosting of my website has already answered me, and this is what I have been told:

Checking the logs of the accommodation we observe:
    AH01630: client denied by server configuration: /var/www/vhosts/39388806.servicio-online.net/rociocalderonabogada.com/wp-content/uploads/dlm_uploads/2020/04/manual_ccse_2020.pdf, referer: https: // rociocalderonabogada .com / index.php / proof-of-knowledge /

So in this case you will have to review the configuration you have implemented to solve the problem.
The truth is that I have stayed the same or worse this is crazy, I am desperate, help please !!

Hi, this issue is specific to your server and or site. I cannot reproduce this issue in my dev site.

How did you upload the PDF file to your site?

    Kind regards
