    You’ve got some validation errors, like a few unclosed <div>’s that will whack the display. Did you edit your theme?

    Check your theme in as many diferent browsers as possible, too. Use IETester, as well as Firefox and Safari.

    browsershots.org is also very useful for checking different browsers, screen resolutions and different OS.

    I’m new to all this so i don’t know what <div>’s are. I edited the original theme i downloaded. any way to rectify the problem?

    Browsershots does cover lots of different configs so you don’t have to find other PCs to test on.

    Maybe get a fresh copy of the theme and compare index.php and sidebar.php and check for different <ul>, <li> and <div> opening and closing tags between those copies and your edited files.
