Page is broken without ESI activated

    I have tried to drill down an issue I have had for a month time or so. If I deactivate ESI – my page will break within ½ hour and show a bunch of strange symbols, mainly a bunch of ? chars.

    Also on the Blog page using a sidebar, the sidebar will show these strange symbols.

    The ESI have been activated for a long time, but I’m not using any ESI blocks and now I have a plugin who is not happy with the ESI active.

    Currently I’m running with the Preset “Essential” during the error finding.

    Any ideas?

    I may have figured it out – finally! Gzip of pages were disabled in httaccess and that were added for a month or so ago. Removing it – seams to have stabilised the site. Will follow the site the next couple of days.
