Try clearing your caching plugin.
Try deactivating your plugins to see if any are causing that problem.
If that doesn’t fix it, leave them off and switch to a default theme to see if it’s specific to your theme.
Hey thanks for your reply.
I tried clearing cache, disabling few plugins that I recently had installed and switching back to default WP theme but still the problem persists.
However, now I have switched back to my as usual theme. Please, do let me know if you have any solution other than these. That would be very helpful for me.
Some of your pages do seem to be working – I’d suspect caching still. Did you clear the cache and then deactivate that plugin?
Beyond that, I’d need to see your site with ALL plugins off and a default theme active.
Or you can ask the developer of your theme for help – as these forums have no way to help with commercial themes.
Pages are working but content on any page is not showing !
I don’t think the problem is from my commercial theme as I have checked installing WP default 2015 and 2013 themes but problem persists. And more importantly, the edit/insert link button in visual editor is also not working which I think, is not a theme’s problem.
I would be happy to let you see my site with all plugins off and default theme active but before that I need to know is there any way that I can restore the same settings of plugins as it would be really very time consuming to do settings of each plugin one-by-one.
idk have you tried re creating the pages on a new page maybe call it test-about and then if that works delete old about file and rename the new file appropriately…
Yes, I have tried but the slug automatically changes of new post. For example when creating new about page after sending old published post into trash, the assigned URL to the new page automatically changes.
For example I tried http://techreviewpro.com/about-us/ but it automatically turns to http://techreviewpro.com/about-us-2/
See I just created a new test page as you said, named test page but even content of this page is not showing.
I’d still suspect your caching plugin or another plugin. IF you have not deactivated ALL of them, try that. You won’t lose settings by deactivating them.
Hey thanks for sharing the resources.
I tried debugging and finally came to know that there was a conflict due to Floating Share plugin [https://wordpress.org/plugins/floating-social-share-bar/]. I just removed that plugin from my server and contents are showing as well as edit/insert link button in visual editor is also working fine as usual.
Though I had earlier tried deactivating all plugins but did’t deleted plugin file from server, this is where I committed mistake.
Now that everything is fixed, I want to thank all of you who took interest in solving this problem.
And yes, I have already contacted Harsh, developer of this plugin and I’m sure he’ll fix this issue in plugin soon.
Thanks !
