• Hello Greg,

I was kinda confused with such behaviour.
When I activated builder, added some widgets to page and updated it, the page content became blank. When I tried to add “Post Content” widget to builder, I didn’t find option “Content” in options list (only “Title” and “Featured Image”).

When I checked the code of plugin, I found out that option “Content” is meant to be there, because the “type” was present in output switch statement. So I added “Content” option to option list, but results were still the same. Then I noticed, that builder is replacing post content with builder generated markup. It took me some time to find “Copy Content to Post Content” checkbox on builder settings page. Unchecking this option prevented builder from copying its markup to content.

Is is the “Content” option of “Post Content” widget missing for a reason? Is “Copy Content to Post Content” option meant to act like this (asking because I found its name a bit not intuitive. It seems like it should copy the content of the post to Post Content widget, not vice versa)?

    Hi @fakemeta

I removed the content option from the Post Content widget because it was causing a lot of confusion. The only reason it’s still in the code is for legacy purposes.

Instead, I’d suggest using Black Studio TinyMCE. This lets you insert a widget with a full visual editor. You can insert all your rich text there.
