I have a sign-up list with, as yet, only a few registered users. I want the users to be able to access the list even before I’m able to add them to a group. So I’ve created a second page with the same list that’s password protected (so that it can be widely accessed, but not by just anyone). However, I want the page to be simple for people who have been added to the proper group.
I logged with an account that wasn’t a member, and everything looked great. But when I logged in with an account that was a member, I still got the message for non-members. Did I do something obviously wrong?
This is what I have at the moment.

    [groups_member group=”Volunteer”]
    [sign_up_sheet]
    [/groups_member]

    [groups_non_member group=”Volunteer”]
If you have a password, please click here to enter your password and access the sign-up sheet.
    [/groups_non_member]

    Thank you!

    Hi itthinx,

just want to add this also happens here on a WP Multisite installation (based on subdomains) where the ‘Groups’ plugin was only activated on a specific subsite.

The solution is to network activate the ‘Groups’ plugin on the mainsite. After this it works perfectly fine! 🙂
