Page and Posts in the Loop

  • I’m using wordpress to manage content on my website. (If you want to take a look to see what I’m talking about here’s the url: Blind Eye Games)

The home page is posts from the News category. I’d like to have two other pages on my site with different categories (Development and Media). The tricky part is that I’d also like for one of the pages to have wordpress page content on top and the category posts below.

I know that I can do this by making php pages and writing custom loops but is there anyway of doing while remaining the standard wordpress template structure?

    Thanks a lot,
    David

maybe there are plugins for that, which does showing the category posts with a shortcode. you should look for that

by the way creating different page templates and using custom loops is a part of wordpress but its your choise.
