Packaging child theme for redistribution

We have created a child theme of Alienship, and would like to package it up for redistribution. Should the package consist of both parent and child theme folders, or just the child theme with instructions to first download Alienship?

Also, we have developed some custom plugins that we would like to include with the theme. What are best practices for aiding the non-technical user to download and install the theme + plugins relatively quickly?
