P2 theme modification for template text in post content

    Today I’ve been trying to modify P2 theme’s post-form.php to show different template content as text in the text box when pushing buttons ‘Status Update’, ‘Blog Post’ etc. but no luck.

    I thought to rely on $post_type to change the text when user pushes the buttons I mentioned above, but I quickly noticed that the variable doesn’t change after the initial page load.

    I have no experience on any kind of programming besides Python, so I would be very grateful if anybody could offer any ideas on how to accomplish this? I’m using P2 v. 1.2.2.
