When I hover over the Owl Items, the slider in the top, I’m not able to click on a link. For example, when I hover over an Owl Item, the transparent black background and the header of the article disappears to the top, leaving only the featured picture of the article. However, now with only the featured picture left, I cannot click on the picture to go to the article.

I don’t know if this is a feature, but is it possible to change it so that clicking on an Owl Item goes to the article?

Also another issue I saw with the Owl Items, is that if the header takes more than one line, the <h1>‘s outline can be seen when the transparent black background and the header disappears to the top. Sometimes if the article title is longer than two lines, you can still see text when you hover over the Owl Item.

  • I noticed the second part, it will be changed in the next update.

Regarding the first part, when you hover and the background moves up an arrow appears in its place in the right corner. And that arrow is linked to the post. See on the demo site: http://demo.flyfreemedia.com/flymag
Can you post a link to your website so I can see if there is an issue there, on all the sites I check the arrow shows up fine.

Ahhh I did not notice the arrow. It is kinda hard to notice the arrow, is it possible to do something else instead of the arrow? After you pointed it out, I noticed the arrow there, but if you want to check out the site, you can, it’s http://www.lolsportz.com/.

Since I’m talking to you, on another topic. If you look at the website, you’ll notice that the header is an image instead of the site title. Because of this, when you make shrink the browser window horizontally, the image doesn’t shrink responsively similar to the rest of the site. So I went into the stylesheet and added width:100% to the .site-logo style. I believe this might be an issue that might only affect us, or others who use an image for the whole header. I just wanted to bring this up, to see if you had an opinion on it.

Thanks for the template, it’s an amazing template. It had everything we wanted, it’s a really flexible, and it looks really good.

You can always increase the arrow size if you feel it’s hard to notice. I might not realize it as I know it’s there.

Yeap, width: 100%; wasn’t added because most people just use a small logo. But it would be a good idea to add it to the theme in the next update.

Okay that sounds good. Is there a way to make modifications to the stylesheet so that I wouldn’t loose them when I update the theme?

Sure, you can use a child theme or if you’re only interested in CSS changes it’s easier to use a custom CSS plugin.
