Playing around with display rules. If I create a custom header strictly for blog posts, does it override the global one without issues? Tbh wanna double check b4 I spend time designing it. Lmk how u handle this.

    Hi @keegan30,

Yes, you can set up a header that applies only to blog posts, and it will take over from the global one on those pages without any conflict.

    Here’s the quick setup:

    1. From your WP admin sidebar, go to UAE > Header & Footer, here create new or edit the existing one.
    2. Choose Header as the template type, give it a name, and click to start building.
    3. Here, you will find the “Display On” option, from the drop down select the one that suits your requirement.
    4. You can select All Posts or even specific Pages/Posts if you want.
    5. Click Publish.

Your global header will keep rendering on every other page (home, archives, pages, etc.), and the new one will take over on blog posts.

The display conditions are flexible enough to handle other scenarios later if you need them, such as the blog index/posts page (which uses a separate condition called “Blog / Posts Page”), specific post IDs, archives, custom post types, and so on. You can also use Exclude conditions if you ever want a template to apply everywhere except certain pages.

Let us know if anything doesn’t behave as expected once it’s live.
