We completely understand your feedback, and we’d like to clarify something important:
You don’t have to translate everything manually unless you prefer to.

TranslatePress offers automatic translation options:

• Google Translate – available in the free version
• DeepL – available with a paid plan
• TranslatePress AI – available with a paid plan

So if you’re using the free version, you can already enable automatic translation via Google Translation API and then simply review and adjust the translations instead of translating everything by hand.
DeepL and TranslatePress AI require paid subscriptions.

If this wasn’t clear during setup, we appreciate you pointing it out — we’re continuously improving onboarding to make these options more visible and easier to activate.
