Outbound Link Tracking

    I’ve had the tracking plugin installed now for several weeks, however I have yet to see any of my custom event tracking show in GA. I’m trying to track an outbound link that is currently embedded in the php file. Does this plugin support that type of tracking? I’m looking for troubleshooting suggestions in the hopes that this is a user error.

    With the latest updates you can set it to Debug.
    If you know how to use your Browser Console the I would enable that as it suppresses any messages to your users. If you don’t then you can enable the Alert Debugging. This will display many messages on the screen to all users and it can be quite annoying. Just make sure to test quickly and then disable debugging.

    Once you do that can you then reply with your debugging info.
