Orphaned Events auto-expunge?

    Having an issue when events are deleted that they are still showing in the calendar view. I can remedy this by going to SETTINGS -> GENERAL -> ADMIN TOOLS -> DATABASE CLEANUP and clicking the “Remove Orphaned Events” button.

    But I don’t want to have to do this everytime an event is deleted? Is there a way to automatically schedule this or have it happen when events are permanently deleted or something? Why is this a thing?
