Is there a way to organize the posts on the Right side of the page by categories or something? else. I would like to keep the posts about my mom and Alz separate from any new posts?

    Thank you.

  • Not sure what you are referring to – “right side” of page isn’t visible unless you post a link to your site.

On the right side of my blog page http://dianemarinconz.com/blog/ there are a list of posts. Is there a way to have them sorted by category rather than in order of post date.

Looks like you already have a category widget there. You can remove or change the order of widgets under Appearance > Widgets (drag and drop).

So I go into All my Posts and drag and drop the order there?

No, I meant that you can move widgets around that way. I’m confused as to what you are trying to do – there’s a categories widget already. Recent posts is sorted only by date, but there might be a plugin that will add more options to a widget –

What I want to do is to organize my posts according to their topic. I thought that would happen when I applied a category (mom and alzheimers or about me) to each post but it doesn’t. They list in date created order rather than by topic.

And have you tried the plugins I posted above?

I installed, activated the first one and clicked on Random but still can’t drag the Posts to the order I want.

The second I downloaded and put the folder in my WordPress Folder but can’t seem to find it to try it.
