Organizing div tags

Hi,
I want to customize the homepage, so that it displays the newest posts in the category.

The problem is that I want to make 3 posts display next to each other in one line, rather then one after another like it actually is…
This is the code which puts each next post in predefined css div:

.. but when it comes to the next post it will apply the same code on it and it will position it under the previous post..

Now, I want to make the code not to position the posts one above another, but all (3 ) posts in one horizontal line..

Any suggestions ?
