Organize Series bug

    Hi,
    I seem to be able to post ‘part 1 of 0 in the series’ when it is published at a scheduled time.

    Also if I set the part number it doesn’t update the total so I have also ended up with ‘part 7 of 6 in the series’ published live.

    I know quirks like this can show on preview but this is once published.

    A click on the update button on the post solves the problem but still an annoyance.

    Hey,

    Can you give some more details:

    1. What version WP and Organize Series are you using?
    2. Is this a fresh install of Organize Series or an upgrade from an earlier version? If an upgrade, what version did you upgrade from?
    3. Is this just happening for you with scheduled posts? If you publish a post normally does the numbering work as expected?

    It sounds like a known issue that keeps popping up here and there (even after I think I squashed the bug)…answering the questions above will help narrow things down. Thanks!

    Hi, Thanks for replying.

    We are currently running Organize Series version 2.4. We first started using it in Sept 2011 so I think we may have done at least one update to it (possibly within the last month).

    We’re running WordPress version 2.4 (again I believe may have been updated within the last month).

    It seems to have only started happening recently so is probably related to updating WordPress / the plug in.

    If you updated WordPress in the last month you won’t be running WordPress 2.4 😉

    Was it working as expected for you when you first started using Organize Series?

    Sorry WordPress version 3.3.2 🙂

    It was working as expecting prior to the last update.
