Hello @paulri,
That solely depends on PesaPal IPN and cron checks. We have had issues, I think they are still ongoing, where PesaPal does not send back a valid response

Thanks Paul for the quick reply.
We had an issue where every order was set to ‘completed’ but we want to set it to ‘processing’
Hey @paulri ,
Which type of product are you selling? For digital products by default the order status is set as ‘complete’. Physical products default to ‘processing’ until shipped

Yes they are physical products. But they are defaulting to complete.
Thanks, I’ve just pushed a fix for this

Apologies for the late reply.
I tried version 1.4.7 – the payment is successful however I get this message: ‘Your Pesapal payment is under pending payment due to invalid card details.’
I have set up the IPN on the pesapal site.
Previously we were on version 2.0 (downloaded directly from the pesapal site)
Hey @paulri,
The version from PesaPal site is different from the WordPress version

Thanks. What’s the reason for this message:
Your Pesapal payment is under pending payment due to invalid card details.’
Version 1.4.7

The payment is successful, money is taken from the card and I can see it in the pesapal account.
I’m not sure, that you will have to ask PesaPal team 🙂 I only developed the plugin
Hi @rixeo,
A clarification, which plugin version is the best to use? The one downloaded from the Pesapal website (v3.0.5) or the one available on wordpress (v1.4.7)?
I am facing the order update issue and not sure if it is plugin issue or pesapal issue?
Hey @musimba,
I think the version on PesaPal site has some modifications. They will need to make the changes on their version. I will download what they have and try make changes they have on it, though their code does not 100% comply with WordPress security standards
Thanks @rixeo for the quick response.
Much appreciated. Looking forward to your feedback after looking over their changes.
