WooCommerce order numbers simply use the standard post ID’s from WordPress.
This means that if you have a comment, post, etc., in between two orders, the order numbers will not be sequential.
It’s possible to have order numbers that contain an even larger gap, depending on how many posts have been created in the wp_posts table since the previous order.
