Order created without payment (paypal)

    Hi there, we have an issue on our site.

    When a user wants to make an order and is forwarded to paypal in order to pay his/her order, is not logged in, and then clicks on “cancel and return to website”, the order the user was going to make appears in our orders in woocommerce. we need to change this process into, that when a user cancels the order and returns to our site, the order does not appear in our order-summery.

    Does anyone has an idea how to do that?

    Hi there,

    By default, WooCommerce will create an order even if a customer “cancels and returns”. That order will sit in the pending payment status until it reaches the hold-stock limit when it will be moved to canceled. You can change how long it takes for WooCommerce to cancel those orders at WooCommerce> Settings> Products> Inventory> Hold Stock.
    Additionally, if you’d like to WooCommerce to trash canceled orders after a specific amount of time, head to WooCommerce> Settings > Accounts and Privacy, and scroll down to the Personal data retention section.
    If you’d rather not have these orders hit WooCommerce at all, you’ll need to customize the code, so your best bet would be to get in touch with a developer who can write that up for you.
