Order Count

  • I agree.

    The one thing I need quick access to with WooCommerce is a visual, from the admin console, of how many open/pending orders I have, and a quick way to single-click my way to the orders screen to start fulfillment.

    The WooCommerce admin bar is basically useless because it simply mimics the default WooCommerce menu in the left-hand column. For all I care, you can get rid of everything in the Admin bar plugin and simply replace it with an Orders button that 1) shows me order counts for any pending/open orders, and 2) let me click on it to bring me to the orders screen, preferably pre-filtering the orders so I just see open orders left to fill.

    If the admin bar doesn’t or can’t do this, is there another plugin that can?

    @inhalesd + @amalg:
    Hi there, you both!
    Maybe you’ve seen it, v2.6.0 of the plugin is out. Now, there’s all updated again, and I will look into the feature you’re suggesting! Yes it makes sense! 🙂

    However, the settings/ admin links will be kept in my plugin, just because I need it myself – and a lot other users too! For example: it saves a lot of scrolling – that’s the reason why it is this way.

    No date for the next update yet, but since WooCommerce 2.1 is around the corner it should not last long 😉 #hinthint 🙂

    Hope that helps, Dave 🙂
